Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for HR fundamentals in the business group, including coaching line managers to independently resolve HR issues, champion performance management, analyze and synthesize data trends and develop appropriate strategies to drive improvements or changes.

  • Identify talent towards the creation of people development & headcount needs to meet the business group resources objectives and retention plan.
  • Support manpower establishment, recruitment and selection to meet the needs of the organization and facilitating organization's strategic recruitment needs.
  • Support the effective management of human resources, salary & benefits people development and performance management for the business unit.
  • Establish good customer relationship via close networking and open communication with all stake holders.
  • Participate in process improvement activities and plans for HR Development.
  • Coordinating and overseeing the implementation of new HR policies and procedures for the business group so that all employees are constantly apprised of changes in HR policies and procedures.
  • Participation in the development and implementation of the HR Strategy and action plan for ensuring that the skills, knowledge and attitudes of staff are developed in line with business objectives.
  • To work collaboratively across to ensure continuous improvement of the HR function, working to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • To maintain awareness of changes in employment law, government policy and emergence of best practice using this to provide strategic advice to colleagues on effective use of human resource and all organizational development issues.
  • To carry out such other duties and responsibilities as are consistent with the role.

Job Requirements:

  • Possess at least a degree/diploma in Human Resource Management or Psychology and any other relevant professional certifications.
  • At least 8 years of HR Management experience being in Managerial position. Min. 1-2 years working experience in both MNCs and PLCs would be most welcome.
  • Exceptional communication skills both written and spoken. You will also be expected to have strong presentation skills and immaculate business writing skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, negotiation as well as persuasion skills. In other words, you must be someone highly adept in people management skills.
  • Have good language proficiency especially in English & Bahasa Malaysia. However, the ability to read, write and speak in Mandarin will be an added advantage due to nature of businesses that you may be involved and support.
  • Analytical, high level of conceptual & contextual, and exudes high thinking order skills.
  • An affable person with high degree of flexibility and adaptability.
