Responsibilities:

• Perform testing in the clinical diagnostic and molecular laboratory
• Perform and verify QC results daily. Troubleshoot if required
• Perform external QC and submit results as scheduled. Troubleshoot if required
• Ensure that all laboratory equipments are at its’ optimal performance. Identify problems and troubleshoot laboratory equipment when required
• Generate, verify and validate laboratory reports
• Ensure that the laboratory running costs are kept under control and be involve in the departmental costing.
• Able to make rational decision when required
• Able to answer enquiries from doctors and clients
• Coordinate with sales and marketing team for manpower arrangement for onsite events/projects
• Collaborate and coordinate with external service provider for onsite campaigns
• Involve with training and guiding new recruits as well as provide support to the team members to ensure daily smooth operation.
• Perform all other duties that may be assigned by the laboratory manager from time to time
• Willing to relocate to new branches when needed

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology or Degree in Biomedical Science
• 5 years of working experience in the related field is required
• Must have relevant working experience in a medical laboratory
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Preferably with phlebotomy skills
• Strong leadership quality
• Team player
• Proven excellent track records
