Position Overview

You will be working as part of the Local Service Centre Finance Team which focuses on Finance Administration & Compliance. Finance administration includes delivery of Statutory Financial Statements, Corporate Tax, VAT, and Company Secretarial Services as well as reconciliation support of associated accounts.

The key goals are to ensure Finance administration are: compliant with Group policies; meets country-specific requirements; is on time; and is of the required quality and delivered at the expected cost.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the financial administration and local compliance activities for 2 assigned countries in Middle East.
• Key focus on timely delivery of statutory audit, monthly/annual taxes reporting as well as company secretarial filings for high volume of legal entities
• Tax works includes management of tax demands received and ensuring tax refunds are collected in a timely manner
• Work collaboratively with Global Shared Service Centre in Manila and 3rd party providers ensuring an effective relationship to optimize professional fee spent

Required Skills, Experience & Qualifications

• 4+ years professional Accounting, Finance Administration and Compliance experience
• Experience working in a shared service environment strongly preferred
• Organisational skills with an ability to prioritise tasks; manage issues and produce results in a timely fashion
• Experience in managing audit, taxes, finance admin & compliance is mandatory
• An inquisitive mindset and desire to get involved in the detail
• MS Excel proficient user
• Ability to meet deadlines, and work efficiently under pressure
• Flexible and adaptable to an international environment
• Able to work independently with high ownership & routine persistent
• Individual contributor role (Hands-on)

Qualifications:

• University degree specialising in Accounting
• CPA/Professional qualification desirable
• Big 4 audit background desirable
• Fluent English language
• Any other main language is beneficial
