Randstad is partnering with a leading syrup manufacturer in Malaysia. The company is expanding their operation at Malaysia and looking for a Maintenance Engineer as part of their strategic growth.

Reporting to: Technical Manager
Team Size: 10
Regions covered: Malaysia

duties and responsibility

• To provide technical support, planning and implementation of maintenance activities and tasks to ensure smooth running of production.
• Troubleshoot and solving emergency or unplanned machines problems in the most effective and efficient manner.
• Liaise and coordinate with production personnel or other functional on scheduled and unscheduled maintenance issues in the best manner.
• To carry out predictive & preventive maintenance according to the planned schedule.
• Assist to develop and enhance existing maintenance program or procedure to be more proactive manner.
• Comprehensive records keeping of all maintenance activities.

skill/experience

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronic).
• Experience doing preventive maintenance
• PLC experience will be an added advantage but not a must.
