1. Plan menus for the restaurant and manage food cost, direct cost and wastage
2. Develop new menu based on recommendations and demand
3. Develop standard recipes and techniques for food preparation and presentation
4. Ensure proper storage of fresh products and other products
5. Ensure food stock level within the workstation are sufficient for daily operation
6. Approve daily food and supplies requisition
7. Schedule and coordinate the kitchen staffs
8. Monitor staffs’ adherence to the restaurant Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and hygiene standard by proper training
9. Set every manpower’s KPI and review regularly
10. Monitor the food preparation and food plating across the workstation
11. Manage kitchen budget and ensure the kitchen operation operates within the approved budget
12. Assist in the establishing of menu price
13. Assist the Management for any special event
14. Perform any ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Management from time to time
JOB REQUIREMENT
1. At least 2 years of experience as similar role or more than 8 years of experience in Kitchen and Management
2. Specialize in Asian/Western Cuisine
3. Good communication skill and managerial skill
