This role will work closely with General Manager for new product development mainly on F&B products.
Job Description:
- Work with Suppliers on NPD development, with approval for final approved sample before production
- Manage product claims with Purchaser
- Create the product strategy and roadmap for the product line based on business objective within the brand portfolio.
- Define market – size, shape, growth, segments, top line financials, etc.
- SWOT analysis, identify opportunities within it, and prepare proposal within or outside of current product category
- Work closely with Product Director to develop packaging & product selling story.
- Conduct research or focus group on products/packaging designs to conclude the final products based on consumer preference.
- Establish pricing structures, price maintenance, Price Setting Form (standard wholesale price)
- Prepare New Product/New Brand deck, USP, Target Consumers, AMS etc
- Business / Launch plan – launch schedules, product selling story and merchandise guidelines
- Prepare brand deck for Sales Team presentation to Buyers, update all brand deck on a regular basis
- Conduct Brand & Product training to Sales team
- Performance analysis – monitor product performance for existing and new products, evaluated & share insights
- Work with Brand Principal - for brand marketing, forecast buy, brand support
- New Product/Range annually
- Annual BP review with Brand Principal
- Prepare OTB, raise PR form to place order
- Place order with Principal
- Monitor shipment and intake, do stock split by business segment
- Stock Analysis - by ageing, W/A, W/Z
- Monthly Stock holding report
- Prepare stock on hand report by brand, and propose actions to clear out aged stocks
- Prepare stock clearance plan for approval and Sales team execution
Job Requirement:
- Possess at least Diploma or Degree in any industries;
- Possess at least 5 years of working experience in relevant field;
- Preferable from FMCG & F&B industry.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday (9am to 6pm)
