Job Description

1. Ensure compliance of corporate financial policy and procedures, with applicable standards and statutory requirements that aligns to the corporate goals to support the business.
2. Identify improvements and opportunities on the company’s financial situation that will result in greater efficiency and effectiveness, considering both short- and long-term goals.
3. Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and develop strategies with a form of framework design that will shape the success of meeting the targeted goals.
4. Check & verify all billing, collection & recon to control account receivables while monitoring long outstanding debts & fraudulent to be taken necessary action to diminish credit risk. 
5. Perform monthly P&L forecasting, monitoring, highlighting and suggesting advice/solutions including improvements when variances are expected to exceed the threshold. Perform month-end finance closing, including passing of journal entries, review costing, prepare management report and variance analysis that compares against forecast and budget.
6. Ensure compliances with bank covenants and tax requirements, including Malaysia GST, withholding taxes and custom duties.

• Ensure compliance of accounting policies, internal & external control
• Assist in liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretary, government authorities & bankers
• Income tax submission & compliance of tax regulation, knowledge of SST Malaysia & withholding tax
• Analyse of changes of interest, cashflow, to identify favourable and adverse of finance and banking while liaising with respectful banker & investment agents to maximise company interest.

7. Account holder for subsidiary companies in managing tenancy and

reporting. 

8. Advisor on projects and in related to government grants application.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Management or Master in Finance, Accountancy, ACCA, CIMA, LCCI or related field.
• Experience in Management Accounting, Finance reports, 
• At least more than 5 to 7 years of related working experience in Finance, Accounting.
• Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office, financial planning software and SAP will be an added advantage.
• Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Proactive, meticulous, good analytical & interpersonal communication skills
• Multi-tasker with the ability to prioritise tasks & able to work under pressure & tight deadline
• A team player, flexible & good attitude
